Proof of Concept (PoC) using real data
The problem
Initial review of a property listing requires information from text, images and other data sources. The aim was to automate recurring preparatory work and combine the findings in an overview for assessment.
IAP’s contribution and approach
IAP analysed actual property listings and supplementary property data for EFM AG. The Proof of Concept (PoC) combined text recognition, language models and adapted image processing to extract listing information, add property-related data and compile land and building metrics in a table. Human review at a critical matching step was part of the workflow.
Result and development stage
Testing on selected real data showed which steps already worked in the Proof of Concept (PoC) and which special cases and data dependencies needed to be addressed in a subsequent prototype. Its tabular output supports initial property review.
